Seven arrested in round up, six still at large

HOLMES COUNTY - The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted an operation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the county that resulted in seven people being arrested and six more being sought in relation to this operation. United States Marshal Service Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted HCSO in the apprehension of these individuals.  

The United States Marshals Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force is a cooperative effort between the Panama City Police Department, Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Marshals Service, United States Customs and Border Protection. 

The following individuals have been arrested: 

Hershel Charles Thomas, 65, of Bonifay – sale of methamphetamine 

James Darron Smith, 53, of Westville – sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of firearm by a convicted felon 

Sonja Melissa Massey, 47, of Westville – possession of methamphetamine 

Michael Lynn Stafford,49, of Westville – sale of methamphetamine 

Amanda Music, 43, of Bonifay – warrant out of Alabama for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine 

Cathy M Zorn, 59, of Bonifay – sale of methamphetamine 

Starla G Sellers, 48 – possession of methamphetamine , possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia  

The following individuals have active warrants on them. 

Jacob William Kelly, 42, of Vernon – sale of methamphetamine 

Jessica Lynn Curry, 36, of Westville – sale of methamphetamine 

Richard Leonard Pettit, 52, of Bonifay - sale of methamphetamine 

Julie A. Story, 38
