PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF WEWAHITCHKA

The City of Wewahitchka Board of Commissioners

will hold a PUBLIC HEARING AND FINAL READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 2021-1214L on Thursday, August 26, 2021 6:05 P.M. central time at the

Senior Citizen/Community Building located at 314 N 3rd St. to consider

adoption of an ordinance with the following title, to wit:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF THE CITY COMMISSIONERS

OF WEWAHITCHKA, FLORIDA AMENDING THE ADOPTED

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF WEWAHITCHKA, FLORIDA, DATED

JUNE 12, 1990, AS AMENDED, WHICH CONTROLS FUTURE LAND

USE, GUIDES PUBLIC FACILITIES, AND PROTECTS NATURAL

RESOURCES PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT

REGULATIONS ACT (CHAPTER 163, PART II, FLORIDA STATUTES);

PROVIDING FOR PROVISIONS TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP,

PROVIDING FOR A COPY ON FILE, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;

AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

According to instrument number 0020047167 in the public records of

Gulf County, Florida, in Book 355, Page 102 Beginning at an iron pipe at

the S. E. corner of the cement sidewalk on East side of State Highway No. 6,

n/k/a State Road 71, where said sidewalk intersects River Avenue, n/k/a

Chipola Avenue and said highway in town of Wewahitchka, Florida; thence run

East a distance of 295 feet for Point of Beginning. Thence run North 75 feet,

thence run East 144 feet, thence run South 75 feet, thence run West 144 feet to

the Point of Beginning, being alot of 144 feet on River Avenue and 75 feet fronting on continuation of Second Street of said town and also being known as the W. Frank Parish home on Second, being in the N 1/2 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 25,Township 4 South, Range 10 West. It is expressly understood herein that an alley is hereby reserved and dedicated in said N 1/2 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, described as follows: Beginning at said iron pipe, thence running East 285 feet for Point of Beginning. Thence run North 660 feet, thence East 1 0 feet, thence South 660 feet, thence West 10 feet to Point of Beginning. Subject to covenants, restrictions and easements of record, if any changing the subject parcel from residential low density to mixed commercial/residential. Subject to all developments regulations required by the City of Wewahitchka, Florida.
